Let's start in goal: Tim Howard is my keeper because he's the Secretary of Defense and you can never go wrong with him. Left back has been a problem with the USMNT as of late and since Brek Shea is not available for selection the obvious answer has to be Timmy Chandler, he has the most experience at that position for the US. Besler/Cameron center back pairing is one that should be tried. These two have tremendous talent and have been teammates before. They alternate well with Cameron running forward and Besler hanging back to cover him. Right back: DeAndre Yedlin. That's it. He's proved he's the RB for the US. Central defensive midfield is Jermaine Jones and Michael Bradley. Jones, who has being playing as the Rapids' #10, is a great defender and can join the attack as a drop back option. Michael Bradley is the captian. He's the heart and soul of this team and if he thrives in the holding midfielder position, that's where deserves to play. Left attacking midfielder is the beloved youngster Christian Pulsic, the only reason I have him starting is for experience and confidence. He's need to go in Copa América with more than one appearance. My right attacking midfielder is Darlington Nagbe, who has been fantastic with Portland Timbers of MLS and he also needs more USMNT experience heading into Copa. Ah, Clint freaking Dempsey would be next. This guy has been a legend for the USMNT and the rumors that Copa will be his last tournament with the Yanks raises some concern. He always drops back while playing for Seattle and sets up chances for his Sounder teammates. Last but not least, Gyasi Zardes. He's up top for me because Bobby Wood played against Puerto Rico and played quite well. Zardes has been inconsistent at times for the US and he startes for me to gain confidence as he might play a pivotal role for the USMNT in the fastly approaching Copa América Centenario
