First off, the omission of Dempsey is simply that he runs hot and cold. He could come off the bench and be a spark but it is time to let Nagbe take over the central playmaking spot. Fabian Johnson starts at left back which brings me pain because he is better in the attack(as seen in his BMG season) but since I don't think Castillo is better, Fabian slots in at left. If JK put Castillo at left back and Fabian at LAM, I would be ok with that. The LAM spot is the most up for grabs spot on this roster. Even though I am not a huge Gyasi fan either, he edges Zusi and Pulisic simply because he is more of a physical presence and faster. Pulisic or Zusi should always be an option off the bench. The rest is self-explanatory. My ideal line-up would be a 4-3-1-2 but that was not an option on here. Same back line. Jones, Bradley and Bedoya in the middle. Nagbe creating and Wood and Gyasi up top.
