Tim Howard is Tim Howard, Guzan has not shown that well to warrant him starting. Backline of non-MLS players that have done well: Cameron and Yedlin have consistently started in EPL, Brooks has been a candidate for BL best XI, and Castillo has had a resurgence. Both fullbacks like to bomb forward and both CB are dangerous on setpieces (Cam has 3 goals in past 5 games for USA) .
Bradley should play deep. If we are to have any chance Jurgen's love affair with Bradley as a CAM should end. Put Bradley in a 6 role with Nagbe and Bedoya making runs into the box as Attacking midfielders. Both have high work rates. Up front, Fabian and Wood have been spectacular for their clubs this season. They deserve to start, and Altidore is the only forward we have who can make this system work well as a #9. I think he plays better when Fabian is in a Midfield role. Dempsey should be a super sub if we need a goal, same with JJ if we have a lead. Morris, Zardes, and Pulisic should be our other offensive subs. Pulisic and Zardes should be used if we need to change the attack formula in the 2nd half. Morris should come on to hold a lead by being fast and relentless / chasing lost causes.
