This lineup would be strong in possession, with more midfielders comfortable on the ball in Bradley, Bedoya, Mix, and Nagbe. Dempsey would be in his best position, playing off the target striker and floating around the final third. Bradley has been excellent so far in Toronto FC's first three MLS games playing a deeper and more defensive role, and he should reprise that here. Both Cameron and Gonzalez are in great form, and are two of the best Americans abroad right now. I don't rate Castillo at all and don't think he should ever make the squad, but with Fabian Johnson injured there are no other left back options on this roster. Howard has to start in goal, because Guzan is error prone and is playing poorly for one of the worst teams in the world in Aston Villa.
