Altidore plays best with a partner and Dempsey is our best scoring threat. The 4 in the middle can all interchange whenever, but have the tactical awareness to cover as needed while putting them in their most effective roles. Even if we don't have the majority of possession, good luck getting through them. Klinsmann has named the outside backs, so there they are, but if Johnson isn't fit I think Yedlin should play RB. The CB's are anyone's guess. Brooks and Besler have been inconsistent but Brooks didn't hit the lows that Besler recently had. Gonzalez is the other consideration for Cameron but after his mistake that cost a goal against Peru it seems like Cameron's position, especially with how well he's been doing for Stoke. If you want one man in the net for one game, it's Howard. No disrespect to Brad, but Tim is the man and has been for years. Mexico doesn't want to have to get past Howard & company on 10/10.
