GREAT having Jermaine back in spite of concerns about his age; just holding out to see that there isn't too much rust and/or his age hasn't finally caught up to him. Not having him has HURT.
Klinsmann sure didn't make up for not having Bradley by bringing the best possible options for the midfield. Corona looked better to me the last time out, & I wonder if he's turning a corner, so I'd like to try him out in the middle for this one & see how he does (seeing as though there is no Bradley, Feilhaber, or Nguyen…sigh). If not, you can switch him & Alejandro.
Still just not nearly as high on Zardes as everyone else seems to be, but I still see the potential & the ability to be dangerous at times. Bring him on in the 2nd half (on the wing, not up top). Klinsmann has shown us enough of him recently for (me) to have concluded he isn't starter quality at this point.
Hard not to start Cameron at either RB or CB. I just like Yedlin in there for his runs out of the back, as I think we'll need SOMEONE to make things happen & create chances. And I think him & Mix worked well together the one time I saw them both on that side.
I don't understand the hate on Brooks, so he's still back there. He's a good player & potential stalwart for us in the future. He'll be paired up with Omar, who should've been starting for us WAY more than he has over the course of the last year.
Guzan is good, but Howard is #1 & NEEDS to be back there. Simple as that.
