With no elite fullbacks on the team and a large amount of centerbacks 3-5-2 is the way.
I could replace Brooks with either Besler or Gonzalez. Maybe try Avarado or Orozco too. There is a fair amount of juggling with exact players. The key is to play with the the center player behind the others. The last time we tried a 3-5-2 we played with Jones carrying the ball forward like beckenbauer. You can't play a 3-5-2 like that in the modern game, also there is only one beckenbauer.
