Midfield: Rapinoe has played well on offense even when nobody else was, so she's back now that she's off suspension. O'Hara was O'mazing against China and I want to see more of that, so I'm sliding her into Heath's spot. I was on the Tobin Heath bandwagon but she has not impressed me so she's back on the bench. O'Hara has clearly earned the start. So has Brian, in my mind. Holiday has not impressed me at all this WC and we've just seen proof that Brian + Lloyd works well, so Lauren's on the bench. I know, I know, blasphemy. Don't care!
Forwards: I would very much like to give A-Rod another shot after the impressive hustle she showed vs. China, but if she can't finish this time, I'm swapping her at the half if not before. Am very glad Morgan is healthy but have not been impressed with her gameplay. Let's try adding Leroux's speed down the left side to counteract Rapinoe's slowness and blend with A-Rod's hustle. I think it could work!
