The Twelfth Yank
about 9 years
From the sounds of it, JK will not be making many changes as he tries to establish his 'core' - or at least keep this camps in tact. A few changes are necessary - Rubin in for the injured Johannsson. Zardes could get another go out wide, but hopefully not. He should either start up top with Jozy (unlikely) or not start at all. I went with the later, and started Yedlin - who could use the minutes and the confidence boost. The back four will stay the same. A key matchup to watch will be Garza vs Lichsteiner, who will be attacking Garza relentlessly all night. Will the real GG please show up? Denmark was a fluke. Sticking with the back, Orozco is tactically sound (hence two goals scored by Denmark after he left) but how long will he last? Once again, I predict JK may stick with Bedoya in the middle - but I personally think Danny Williams is a much better fit there. Lastly, in goal comes the new boy Yarbrough, who has really impressed in training, apparently...so lets see it then.
