ALTIDORE - obvious choice ZARDES - read reports that he was impressing in camp and I was impressed in his short time on the field vs Chile SHEA - true left sided winger TRAPP - didn't look bad vs Chile but was probably a bit outmatched for his first cap. I think he has a chance to impress vs a bit of a weaker opponent. I see him dropping back in a deeper role spraying the ball around and putting out fires from the CDM position BRADLEY/DISKERUD - Both disciplined box-to-box type midfielders. With Trapp sitting deeper they will have the freedom to get forward and create. YEDLIN - Ironically Yedlin looked much better going forward vs Chile than he did defensively, but Panama will give him an opportunity to show he can do one just as well as the other (which is what is expected of him). KITCHEN/JONES/HEDGES - Besler really struggled for me vs Chile so I think Kitchen should get the chance to show what he's got. Jones at the center of defense in a 3-5-2 is a no-brainer. Hedges get a deserved start with the injury to Birnbaum. Had a stellar season with FC Dallas and should get the chance to show Klinsy he's no joke. JOHNSON - Rimando didn't have his most confident game vs Chile, but he is still the best of the bunch. I just think Klinsmann gives Johnson the chance to get some playing time after a long Jan. camp.
