While Shea has no place as a wing back with significant defensive responsibilities, he earned himself another look in a pure attacking wing role. Nguyen and Ibarra are vying for spots in the national team picture going forward and should continue getting looks. Ideally, Bradley and Diskerud continue to explore their partnership in the central midfield, if they can develop the feel for how to run the attack while still helping out an unsettled back line. Besler plays left back just because there's no one else. Birnbaum earned himself another look, while it's time for Hedges to get one.
