A versatile starting XI. Altidore as the striker is obvious. The US enjoys aerial supremacy and the long ball and Altidore is essential to both. Dempsey, a star and natural playmaker is a given. Bradley and Donovan as well. Fabian Johnson will give good pace up the left hand side, with Beasley on the overlap to give support. Parkhurst played remarkably well in previous US matches and deserves the RB spot. Cameron is arguably the best defender on the USA. Gonzalez is the only true weak link in this lineup - but hopefully Tim Howard can play superb as usual!
