My preference, not what I expect JK to choose. Edu, Parkhurst and Green are in the lineup for WC evaluation. Barring injury, Rimando will never be the US #1, he will remain what he is--a very dependable third option. Johnson seems to be the preferred choice to take over after Guzan retires and needs qualtiy MNT experience.
Deuce is out of the lineup based on current form and to send a message. Unless he shows significant improvement before the WC, he should not start, much less captain the US there. Bradley is a far better choice as captain and Donovan is the best choice at CAM for the US. His vision and passing better fit what the US needs from that spot.
