NEVER MIND HIS technical skill or tactical awareness or impressive soccer resume for a moment—the first thing you notice about Michael Parkhurst is that he's a genuinely nice, thoughtful guy. In a mixed zone, he's engaging and considerate. He's the kind of person you'd like to have as a next-door neighbor.
