The United States U-20s draw an easy group at the World Cup.
  • All the groups:

  • Jermaine Jones has sports hernia surgery. He announced it himself. He's a wonderful weirdo.

  • Right: "Lots of players get opportunities with the national team. Gyasi Zardes made his count. The Los Angeles Galaxy striker turned the Panama match into a personal showcase and made a case for becoming a regular player with the team. Playing out of position on the wing as opposed to his preferred forward role, Zardes was consistently dangerous in the first half."

  • Just gonna quote here: "Jonathan Spector put in a third convincing performance at the heart of the back four, Will Packwood is back from injury and Morrison isn’t too far away either. Spector’s steady hand means Rowett no longer needs a body for the sake of it, he only needs a player that will significantly improve Blues."

  • Julian Green, the hope of American soccer, gets demoted to the U-23 club at HSV. He's on loan in an attempt to get playing time.
