Nearly four years after a loss to Canada set the stage for qualifying disappointment, the U-23s came out firing, earning themselves a 3-1 win against our neighbors to the north.

- Olympic qualifying got off to a good start, with the U-23s beating Canada 3-1 in Kansas City. Jordan Morris scored in the first minute of the game, added another goal in the second half and Luis Gil converted a penalty to make it a 3-1 game.
