2014 World Cup

JURGEN KLINSMANN HAS until June 2 to name his final 23 players for the World Cup, but who has the patience to wait that long? Certainly not the Total Soccer Show. Accordingly, co-hosts Ryan Heins, Josh Stankus, Ben Bromley, and I decided to do it ourselves. To keep it democratic, I gave Robert's Rules of Order a perfunctory perusal, then formed the official Total Soccer Show Committee to Select the U.S. Men's National Team World Cup Roster.
They say a camel is a horse designed by committee, but I think the roster that emerged from this meeting may actually work. Click play below to hear the 23 names that made the selection committee's final cut.
What do you think? Would you take that roster to Brazil? What would you do differently? Let us know in the comments.
And if you think you can pick a better 23, please be my guest. The ASN 23 for Brazil tool is just a click away.
