UNITED STATES national team interim head coach Dave Sarachan was forced to make a series of changes to his upcoming roster.

Tyler Adams, 19, was forced to withdraw from the team due to back problems which precluded him from taking part in the Red Bulls big game against Atlanta last Sunday. The Red Bulls were able to win that game but will now likely have to take on San Jose on Saturday without Adams as well.

Christian Pulisic, 20, is also now scratched from the roster. The Hershey native missed Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League group stage 3-0 win over Monaco on Wednesday with a slight tear in his calf muscle. It is yet another injury absence for the Pulisic who has only played with the national team once in the past year.

As a result, Sarachan has added Philadelphia Union winger Fafa Picualt to the team. Picault, 27, has earned one cap with the U.S. team – coming in a 3-1 win over Puerto Rico in on May 22, 2016.
