EIGHTEEN-YEAR-OLD OREGON native Rubio Rubin enjoyed his best game as a professional today, creating two goals for FC Utrecht against Go Ahead Eagles.

For Utrecht's first goal, Rubin sent in a cross that Gyrano Kerk put away to give Utrecht a 1-0 lead in the 49th minute. Take a look.

Just two minutes later Rubin picked up a second assist on a terrific through-ball which found Ruud Boymans who capitalized for a 2-0 lead. Video of this goal is below.

Unfortunately for Utrecht, the Go Ahead Eagles came back to tie the contest and then scored a stoppage-time winner to win 3-2.

Rubin has been named to the upcoming roster for the United States U-23 team but he could also be named to the full national team for the first part of the October international window.
