IN THE SIXTH of 19 ASN/TSS preview podcasts, Ryan Heins gets the lowdown on Columbus Crew's 2014 season by peppering Massive Report host Patrick Guldan with questions about "America's Hardest Working Team."
Guldan is not optimistic the team will make the playoffs, but he is looking forward to seeing Michael Parkhurst make his case for the World Cup. Guldan also tips 21-year-old Ohio-born midfielder Will Trapp as a key player for Columbus this season, a soon-to-be U.S. national team No. 6, and a future conduit for all our vicarious European soccer dreams. Click play below to find out why he is so high on this guy.
What do you think? Is Trapp destined for stardom? Will the Crew make the playoffs? And will Parkhurst get enough time at fullback to make that plane to Brazil?
