The ink is dry on Brek Shea's $3.9 million transfer from FC Dallas, and he has his U.K. permit in hand. Will he make his English Premier League debut Saturday against Reading?

UPDATE: Brek Shea did not make the 18 for Stoke.
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is thrilled to have Brek Shea with the team and eligible to play, but will the 22-year-old winger get a chance to play today (10 a.m., Fox Soccer 2Go) against Reading?
It will come down to a game-time decision.
“He (Brek) should be in today so that will make him available for Saturday," Pulis said on Thursday, "but we will need to assess him and see what the situation is with him."
“He had to go back to the U.S. to get his permit and visa sorted, which isn’t ideal, but we are expecting him back in today for training which is good news."
With eight Stoke City players representing their countries during midweek international contests—including Shea's American teammate, Geoff Cameron—it could create an opportunity for Shea. He's rusty, but he is also rested.
“We would like him to be fit and ready to go, but we will have to have a look at him, just as we will with a few of the other lads who have been away on international duty,” Pulis said.
