Tempers flared during the Galaxy's 3-0 win over the Sounders in Monday Night Fùtbol, with U.S. World Cup teammates getting into it; Julian Green says he wants to be the "future" of the U.S. national team.

  • The Los Angeles Galaxy routed the Seattle Sounders 3-0 last night, and everyone is talking about an incident between World Cup teammates Omar Gonzalez, Clint Dempsey and DeAndre Yedlin. The sequence began with Gonzalez knocking Yedlin down and then barked at the 21-year-old while he was on the ground. Dempsey came over, and somebody shoved somebody.

  • Julian Green spoke to reporters ahead of Bayern Munich’s U.S. tour. “I want to be the future of the U.S. men’s national team,” Green said. “I think it’s very important to give the young guys a chance to play. I think we did a good job – me or DeAndre Yedlin or John Anthony Brooks. We have a lot of young, good players, and I’m looking forward to playing with them.”
