Sorry Ireland: "Shane O’Neill is from a family steeped in the GAA but he now must make a choice that will define his budding soccer career: will he represent the land of his birth or his home since infancy? Noah Davis (oh, that's me!) writes about why the MLS players are almost definitely going to lose the current round of CBA negotiations: "If MLS ceased to exist tomorrow, the owners would be disappointed. Portland Timbers owner Merritt Paulson would have to find someone else to get into Twitter fights with, but he would be just fine. The vast majority of the 500-plus players in the league, however, wouldn’t." Quite a negative fella, that one.
