The mention of Ghana evokes just about every emotion for American fans, so it should be an interesting contest when the U.S. hosts the Black Stars in a friendly before the Gold Cup this summer.
- The U.S. men will face Ghana in a friendly in East Hartford on July 1, a tune-up match ahead of the Gold Cup. After meeting in each of the past three World Cups, this will be the first time these teams have faced off since the Americans' 2-1 win in the 2014 opener.
