- The U.S. men will face Ghana in a friendly in East Hartford on July 1, a tune-up match ahead of the Gold Cup. After meeting in each of the past three World Cups, this will be the first time these teams have faced off since the Americans' 2-1 win in the 2014 opener.

- Juan Agudelo – who is still only 24 years old – scored twice in the Revolution's 3-3 draw with the Sounders over the weekend. He's found the back of the net six times already in 2017 and could be a very useful piece for the national team.
