  • Amid the Justice Department’s investigation, U.S. Soccer officials are skipping today’s meeting in Mexico to determine the fate of the 2016 Copa America Centenario and it seems there’s a good chance the tournament won’t be taking place in the United States. The New York Times reports the most likely outcomes would be holding it in Mexico or a modified version to be held in South America.

  • American citizen Darlington Nagbe on a potential national team call-up: ”They have a lot of great players who play here and overseas, so hopefully they want me. It’d be a great opportunity to go there and play with top players; it’d be fun.”
