Unsurprisingly, DeAndre Yedlin tops this year’s “24 Under 24” on MLSsoccer.com. (The Seattle fullback is ranked No. 14 in the latest ASN 100.) Gyasi Zardes came in at No. 4 while Luis Gil, Wil Trapp and Bill Hamid are the other Americans in the top 10.

Born in Atlanta, raised in eastern Pennsylvania and possessing a Romanian passport, 16-year-old Danny Barbir has featured for West Brom’s U-18 team since making the move from Manchester City over the summer. ASN spoke to the six-foot-four youngster about his time overseas and his international future.
Robbie Keane says Galaxy teammate Robbie Rogers has been "brilliant" at left back, and should be rewarded with a spot with the national team. “I'm sure if Mr. Klinsmann was a very, very good manager and watching the games, there's no question he should certainly be in the squads," Keane said. "I don't know when the next game is, but he certainly should be looked at because he's been brilliant. That's how much he's been on, if I'm touting that he should be in the national team.” If you'll remember, Keane touted Mike Magee for a call-up last year.
