Major League Soccer squads start picking at 12pm today. Watch it on ESPN News to see who your favorite team ends up with. Has anyone done a mock draft? Oh yeah they have.
Our own profiled likely No. 1 pick Steve Birnbaum: "DC would be a great place to be. It’s a great organization. They’ve made some huge offseason moves getting a bunch of attackers like Eddie Johnson. If I fall there, it’d be awesome. I’d be excited to be the No. 1 pick. Who wouldn’t be? I’ll just be happy wherever I end up and hopefully be ready to contribute right from the beginning."
The United States will play FC Sao Paulo in a close door friendly today. According to Globo Esporte, "the U.S. has asked Sao Paulo FC not to divulge the score or details of the scrimmage." Hahaha. That's the best.
