- It’s officially MLS season! The Portland Timbers host Minnesota United tonight (9:30 p.m. ET, FS1) in the latter’s first-ever MLS match.
- The U-20s face El Salvador tonight (6:30 p.m. ET, Facebook Live) with the chance to clinch a spot in this summer’s World Cup. “It’s going to be very hard to beat us,” defender Justen Glad says.
- Vancouver became the seventh MLS team to reach the CONCACAF Champions League semifinals with a win against the Red Bulls.
- Following in his father’s footsteps, 21-year-old Ian Harkes looks to fill a hole in the midfield for D.C. United.
