  • John Brooks probably won’t participate in Hertha Berlin’s Europa League match next week. "I hope I can be fully fit as soon as possible. We will work hard in the next days and week to make up the difference with our fitness coaches,” Brooks said. “I would love to play right away, but that's just not possible.”

  • Ahead of next week’s All-Star Game, Arsenal CEO and former MLS executive Evan Gazidis discussed the progress the league has made. "I think the talent pool is certainly deeper, and more consistently at a high level when you look across the league," he said. "I still think there is room to have some truly world-class players coming through the development system, and I think we're beginning to see that.”
