Jurgen Klinsmann is thinking outside the box again, and will reportedly call Minnesota United FC midfielder Miguel Ibarra into camp next month; It looks like Chivas USA will be closing up shop temporarily.

  • ESPNFC reports Minnesota United FC’s Miguel Ibarra will be in the squad for October’s friendlies. The 24-year-old would become the first player from NASL to participate in a senior national team camp since Clyde Simms in 2005.

    Here are some highlights:

  • MLS salaries! He hasn’t played a game yet but Kaka leads the way, making more than $7.1 million in guaranteed compensation. Clint Dempsey is the league’s No. 2 earner, netting nearly $6.7 million.
