  • The MLS All-Stars defeated Bayern Munich 2-1, thanks to Landon Donovan's second-half goal. Would you like to watch it over and over again?
  • Pep Guardiola wasn't happy with some rough challenges late in the match and refused to shake hands following the final whistle. He also yelled at Caleb Porter a lot. The Timbers coach responded with a bemused smile.

  • Meanwhile, in a game that mattered a lot more but got very little attention, the United States U-23 team looked good last night, beating the Bahamas senior team 5-1:
  • Mix Diskerud was going to come to the Columbus Crew and then suddenly he wasn't. Maybe he heard about the algae blooms in Lake Erie.
  • DeAndre Yedlin now appears headed to Tottenham while Sacha Kljestan seems to be coming back home to the Los Angeles Galaxy.

  • This is just my favorite. Well done, Portland.
