- The U.S. U-20s begin their World Cup campaign tonight/tomorrow morning (midnight ET) with a match against Myanmar in Whangarei, New Zealand. It’s the first World Cup appearance at any level for the Southeast Asian country, and our Josh Deaver did some digging to find out what the young Yanks are up against.
- Finally a part of the the United States program, Gedion Zelalem spoke to ESPN FC ahead of tomorrow’s World Cup opener. "I wasn't sure where I would be this summer, with Jurgen's team or Tab's team," Zelalem said. "But for me it didn't matter, because I just wanted to play for the U.S."
