A “senior FIFA employee” told German newspaper Die Welt that moving the 2022 World Cup from Qatar is a “serious option.” The source suggests a decision would be made at the 2015 FIFA Congress. This news comes on the heels of a report that more than 400 Nepalese migrant workers have died on construction sites since the country was awarded the tournament back in 2010. Stay tuned for the next 15 months.
Americans had a nice weekend in Europe, with Aron Johannsson, Terrence Boyd, Daniel Williams and Sacha Kljestan all scoring goals.

Seattle Sounders boss Sigi Schmidt says Fulham's managerial change won't have any impact on Clint Dempsey's loan. Dempsey hasn't been in the 18 for either of last-place Fulham's past two matches, both of which were under Rene Muelensteen, who was fired Friday and replaced with Felix Magath. There's only one match remaining on Dempsey's loan deal – against West Brom on Saturday – but Seattle isn't pushing for Dempsey's early return.
