Veteran MLS winger Marvin Chavez has lots of speed, but sometimes lacks for much of anything else. That's why he's generally used as a substitute when he suits up for his country if he's on the roster at all. Both El Bicolor and the opposition know what they're going to get out of Chavez, but just because you know "El Hijo del Viento" is going to try to blow by you doesn't mean you can keep up.

Chavez will hope to build off a decent Gold Cup campaign that saw him make one start and three appearances off the bench. It was in one of those reserve roles that he scored against Haiti to lock down the Honduran lead. A late contribution in one of Honduras' late Hex matches could be in the cards.
