A Philadelphia Union homegrown and regular starter, McGlynn made his international debut for the United States at the U-16 level, playing against the Netherlands on November 14, 2019. He was a member of the U.S. U-20 team that won the 2022 CONCACAF Championships to qualify for the 2023 U-20 World Cup and the 2024 Olympics.
