Bello, a left back by trade, signed a homegrown contract with Atlanta United at the start of 2018. On September 2, 2018, Bello made his first MLS debut for Atlanta United against D.C. United. On September 22, 2018, Bello got his first start for Atlanta United against Real Salt Lake in a home match. In 2019 he is expected to be a leader of the United States U-17 team.
