There we were, wandering around Port of Spain when we stumbled onto Hasely Crawford Stadium where the Americans will look to defeat the home side in a few days. Was the gate open? Yes, yes it was.
This was as close as we thought we would get.
But we went through an open gate and then another and then we stumbled into the cricket ground where a team of high jumpers was training. They were clearing the bar effortlessly.
