Stuart Holden held a charity clothes drive and received "unbelievable support" from his Bolton teammates and the community at large. He collected bags upon bags of clothes. Hopefully some of the good karma will go toward keeping the kid healthy when he returns to the Wanderers lineup in the near future.
Isaac Acuña, a former United States U-23, will join Atlante next season, leaving Club America.
The Mix Diskerud to Portland rumors are heating up. "Caleb Porter has contacted Mix and asked him to consider joining him on his move to the Portland Timbers, if possible," Paal Diskerud told MLSsoccer.com. "Representatives of the league ownership in MLS, including Portland, and Mix have not at this point attempted to contractually bind each other."
