  • Somehow, some way, Club Tijuana pulled out a 2-0 victory over Toluca to win the Liga MX championship. Greg Garza, Joe Corona, and Edgar Castillo all played roles. Afterward, the boys celebrated with their snazzy new medals. Even Jurgen Klinsmann was pleased, although he forgot to include one of the three champions.

  • Sean Franklin thinks the LA Galaxy are the best sports team in the City of Angels. You know what? He might not be wrong. I don’t miss days in training, I don’t stay in the physio room too long if ever, I push myself and drive myself hard. That’s what’s important. If you want to be the best you can’t rely on other people to drive you."

  • Preston Zimmerman netted two for SV Darmstadt 98.

  • Bobby Wood scored a rather ridiculous goal, his first for TSV 1860 Munich.
