  • Geoff Cameron was pleased with Stoke City's defensive effort in a 0-0 draw with Sunderland over the weekend but is getting a little cold.

"I was talking to my buddies on Friday and they were saying they were having a cold front. The cold front was 70 degrees. I was saying 'guys it's only five degrees here! I think my blood has thinned out over the last four-and-a half years. I am used to cooling my body down not heating it up. I have to get some thicker blood."

  • Jurgen Klinsmann heard Landon Donovan's "50-50" comments and offered up his thoughts regarding the American star on a Fox Soccer show Sunday afternoon. Basically, Donovan will have to fight for his spot:

“Obviously, we know what Landon has done for US Soccer these last 10, 12 years, and all the qualities that he has,” Klinsmann said. “But since about 14 or 16 months, he’s struggling with injuries and he’s struggling with inner motivation. He brings it out in that interview, which I think is quite courageous of him. It’s his call. It’s his life. It’s his career."

  • Two fans are fighting over Brad Friedel's gross, sweaty jersey. Of course they are.

  • The biggest overachievers in MLS this season? That would be... Chivas USA?!? That's the case, at least according to one formula.

  • In huge news for the American television audience, NBC Sports wins the television rights to the English Premier League starting in the 2013-2014 season. It cost $250 million over three years. Everything about this is shocking.
