Brad Guzan and Tim Howard have both allowed 10 goals this season, while Howard has three shutouts to Guzan's two. Will this match influence Jurgen Klinsmann’s thinking about who is the U.S. No. 1 and who is the backup? Doubtful. But it’s a great opportunity to gauge their form in a head-to-head contest.

This regular season finale is big for both teams. A win for Kansas City gives the club a chance to finish atop the Eastern Conference. A Philadelphia victory could catapult the team into the playoffs. Jack McInerney and Amobi Okugo could both use a long playoff run to showcase their abilities ahead of the January U.S. training camp. On the other side of the field, Graham Zusi and Matt Besler are both national team locks at this point, but Benny Feilhaber is still trying to make a positive impression with Klinsmann.

Sunderland vs. Newcastle

American soccer fans keep hoping that Jozy Altidore will open his Sunderland account “next game,” but it just isn’t happening for him. And Sunderland just stinks. However, Newcastle has a pretty bad defense, giving up the third-most goals in the Premier League so far. The Black Cats will be doing everything it can to create its sixth goal of the season, and this just might be Altidore’s day. Will he score? Won’t he? The match is worth on that level alone.

Udinese vs. Roma

AS Roma’s fantastic start to the season is great news for the club…but what does it mean for Michael Bradley, who is recovering from an ankle injury and trying to push his way back into the Starting XI? Is there any chance Bradley gets the start? Will he get meaningful minutes in the second half? The U.S. national team’s most indispensable player has shown that he can claw his way into just about any lineup, but he’s in a tricky spot right now. Unbeaten Roma should, at least on paper, have an easy time with Udinese's lackluster offense.

New York Red Bulls v. Chicago Fire

There are plenty of story lines to track in this one: Can the New York Red Bulls win the Supporters Shield? Is the team ready to win the MLS championship this year?
