A big night in the CONCACAF Champions League as both Sporting Kansas City and the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated their Mexican opponents 1-0 at home. Will the lone goal be enough to hold up in the return legs? Only time will tell. Only time will tell. We're all about drama here on ASN. Paul Kennedy with a nice aside: "The irony of the Galaxy-Tijuana series is that a half a dozen U.S. players on both teams combined hold hopes of traveling to Brazil for the World Cup, only the players on the losing team will get to a chance to play in the USA's test before Klinsmann must pick his squad."
Jurgen Klinsmann, so not worried about Clint Dempsey: “Clint is on the right path,” Klinsmann said. “Clint is looking a lot sharper, a lot better than at the end of last year. He struggled with injuries, the whole transition back from Europe into MLS, a different type of a game, turf field in Seattle, all those things you can see now are left behind.
Speaking of Mr. Klinsmann, oh hey there:
Here's a cool little video in which ESPN's World Cup anchors talk about their World Cup memories. World Cup World Cup World Cup.
