- Bye bye Perry Kitchen: "D.C. United and Perry Kitchen appear to be parting ways after five seasons. Unable to reach agreement with the midfielder on a new, long-term contract, United is shifting focus to a replacement from abroad, the Insider has learned." (Also, sure? "If Kitchen leaves for Europe, United would retain his MLS rights indefinitely because, as league rules state, 'attempts were made to re-sign the player.'")
- It's a big day of EPL action with Brad Guzan, Tim Howard, and Geoff Cameron all taking the field.
