  • Tuesday night's World Cup qualifier in Seattle likely won't draw as many people as the Sounders do. Despite the U.S. men's national team not having played in the Northwest in forever, there are reasons for this occurrence. Despite the decreased turnout though, the 35-40k that's expected would still rank high on all-time national team WCQ attendance lists.

  • beIN Sport owns the rights to most of the U.S. men's national team's away qualifiers. In the eyes of many, according to Sports Illustrated media critic Richard Deitsch, that's becoming more and more apparent to be a bad thing. Luckily, ESPN will air the match in Seattle.

  • Remember Graham Zusi getting carded late aganst Jamaica on Friday? Well, he's going to miss the game against Panama because of it. Meaning that someone needs to take his place. Eddie Johnson appears to be one likely choice.

  • With the US Open Cup progressing, there are bound to be some akward situations between MLS teams and lower league sides who have some of their players on loan when they face one another. But how the parent club handles such a dilemma is up to them, making for an interesting range of responses.

  • Hope Solo made a mess of a cross, then made a stink on Twitter.
