  • Jurgen Klinsmann: "It would be foolish not to use this one year of time to try out a lot of things. To integrate new players, to tryout different systems, to move out of your comfort zone going to Europe, going to other places and risking some results. If we wouldn’t do that, there’d be no growth. If we would just be comfortable and play all of our games in the U.S. against teams we’d most likely beat, there is no growth. It’s very important that we understand that we might do it at the expense of some results."

  • Everything you need to know about the MLS week that was—including that "handshake."

  • Like everyone else, FIFA presidential candidate Prince Bin Al Hussein is sketched out by 2026 World Cup rights being awarded to Fox. Unlike everyone else, he could have actually done something about it.

  • Emerson Hyndman: "I definitely had to become a man real quick. I stepped up from playing U-18 to all of a sudden playing first team. I had to become fitter, stronger, and quicker mentally. I think just the whole package I had to develop and try to play ‘man’ football. I’ve always been on the smaller side growing up so I’ve always had to adjust to it."

  • Pro this: "But let’s have the home jersey consistently consistent. Pick a color and then stick with it. Introduce a new version of it every year if you want. Just keep the home kit the same color. Let the home kit begin to give our national team an identity. Even if just aesthetically speaking."

  • Really enjoy these replay controversies. Simon Borg, so loud:
