— Graham Parker (@KidWeil) May 10, 2015 - NYCFC supporters, however, won the quotes in the New York Times fight: "I’ve been totally looking forward to this game," said Enrique, a 24-year-old City fan from Flushing, who asked not to provide his last name because he was supposed to be home sick from his restaurant job. "They've got more history, but we will catch up."
- The American women's team defeated Ireland 3-0 in San Jose. Abby Wambach had two goals with newly appointed starter Julie Johnston finishing the rout-ish type deal in the second half.
- Wambach and Megan Rapinoe had a badass contest, too:
US Soccer spokesman says players reaching 100 caps usually get a Rolex. Rapinoe asked that money be given to charity. #WellDone #USAvIRL
— Jeff Carlisle (@JeffreyCarlisle) May 10, 2015Wambach on if her nose is broken. "I don't know. I don't care."Says she will not get x-rays since there is nothing that can be done. #uswnt

- I wish there was some way to turn Johannsson's name into a laser pun but it's before 8 on Monday morning and my brain isn't quite there yet. Just watch:
Holy Moly!!! #USMNT fwd Aron Johannsson with an amazing 88th minute game-winning goal for AZ Alkmaar. MUST WATCH: https://t.co/aDw0bhiCtt
