  • The San Diego Chargers are now the Los Angeles Chargers and they will be playing at the StubHub Center for the next two seasons. But fear not, they'll be the lower-priority tenant! “The Galaxy is the main priority for StubHub Center,” said Brendan Hannan, StubHub center's director of communication. “The Chargers’ NFL schedule will be built around the Galaxy schedule. The same will happen in terms of 2018.”

  • Can soccer fill the Chargers' void in San Diego? Sources tell The San Diego Union-Tribune that an ownership group will submit an application for an MLS expansion franchise later this month with plans for a 30,000-seat venue on the Qualcomm Stadium site.

  • The year after making his U.S. national team debut, Fafa Picault is done at St. Pauli.
