  • When you show up late to the Gold Cup, you get a weird number. Prepare to be mildly confused when you see stalwarts Tim Howard (No. 24), Michael Bradley (No. 26), Jozy Altidore (No. 27) and Clint Dempsey (No. 28) on the field Wednesday.

  • Reunited with Bruce Arena and his former Galaxy coaches, Gyasi Zardes is confident his struggles are behind him. “Over the last couple of weeks we’ve seen him get back to his old form,” Arena said. “He’s more confident now. He’s going after defenders one on one, which is an important part of his game."

  • With reinforcements on the scene, how will Arena handle the lineup?

  • Who do you think should start Wednesday night?
