The final round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying snuck up on us, and the Hex gets underway for the U.S. against a familiar foe at a familiar venue; Jermaine Jones gives Chicharito some bulletin board material.
- Jermaine Jones explains that infamous confrontation with Chicharito from the 2011 Gold Cup final: “He’s always talking to the referee… I pulled him aside and said ‘small boy come here, we have to talk.’”
- Speaking of Chicharito, the 28-year-old had this to say about the result of America’s election: "There are moments that are not nice for some people and that wasn't the best for Latinos and all of us. But life goes on. "Sadly, that was the decision that the country made. If our game can give them some joy and take away the sadness they are going through, good then."
