  • The United States men's national team takes on Honduras (8pm; ESPN) tonight and here's one man's idea for the Starting XI. Why don't you go make your own? Could Jermaine Jones start at center back? "Maybe I get a new position?" the central midfielder, who is seriously just the best at quotes, said. But will anyone show up?
  • One man who will be there is Alejandro Bedoya, who is coming home and taking a bigger part in the proceedings: "Definitely speaking with Jurgen he wants me to become more of a leadership role. I'm not that kind of guy that's going to be more [vocal] like that. I'm more introverted in that aspect, but I lead by example. You know what you're going to get out of me, I'm going to work hard and do my best, and the key is to stay consistent and help the young guys based on my experience and show them what it takes. That'll help them out, too."

  • Another look at how Jurgen Klinsmann's relentless focus on youth is pushing out the veterans. "It's normal that now, after one cycle ends, the beginning of the next cycle is used to kind of assess things," midfielder Michael Bradley told ESPNFC. "There are younger guys who are given a chance to come into it. With older guys, you're trying to see still where they fit in. So that's where we are at the moment. That's what Jurgen is trying to do."
